Mr. Devaron Yates is a 2004 graduate of Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Finance. He currently resides in Norfolk, Virginia and is employed with First Investors Corporation in Hampton, Virginia. He is a 2000 graduate of John Marshall High School, Richmond, Va.

Devaron has successfully obtained his Series 6 and Series 63 licenses with NASD as well as his Life Insurance and Annuities licenses. These licenses provide him with the opportunity to legally offer specific financial tools that assist his clients in reaching their financial goals and objectives in a disciplined and timely manner. What attracted Devaron to the company is the emphasis First Investors representatives place on principles such as respect, trust, and empathy through interaction with clients while conducting business. Also, he loves the opportunity to work with new representatives that are interested in the financial services industry. He is currently a Senior Representative. He also is a mentor to new the representative’s pursuing financial services as a career. His goal is to one day become a manager of an office at First Investors Corporation. He enjoys the close relationships that have been established with his clients and new representatives.
