Richmond native D,J, Davis is a member of the Implementation Services / Customer Support team with LogicaCMG, a European consulting and telecom products company. As a CS engineer his position combines Unix systems/network engineering with post-deployment support of Logica's uOne system (voicemail, Unified Communications).
His career began in Operations and in Programming with MCV Hospitals. At the City of Richmond, D.J. was a Sr. Programmer/Analyst working with Police, Fire and Courts applications. After ten years he transferred to mainframe engineering, and later network engineering. In the private sector he worked as a WAN Design Engineer with WorldCom, a consultant at Indian Head (Md.) Naval Base, and an instructor at Beta Tech.
D.J. received a B.S. in Business from VCU and holds A+, CCNP and MCP certifications. He holds an FCC commercial license and a Radio Amateur license. D.J. is proud to have been an original member of BDPA-Richmond. His interests include a love of electronics, video production, and aviation. He serves as Organist at his home church Garland Avenue Baptist. He is a proud, single father of two children.
