Topic: The Integration of TCP/IP Protocols to Build a Unified Messaging System.
An introduction to LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol), SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol), SMS (Short Message Service), and VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol)

Benefit: TCP/IP, LDAP, IMAP, STMP, SMS and VoIP are protocols that are commonly used in our industry; however, if networking is not your area of specialization you may not know exactly what these protocols are or how they are used. We use some of these protocols daily in applications such as Internet Mail although we may not be aware of it. Mr. Davis is going to “demystify” these terms for us and present us with information about these application layer protocols and some of the things that can be done with TCP/IP.

This promises to be an exciting and informative presentation that you will not want to miss!
